I'm planning on making Simplicity 1652 and I've had a fabric in mind, but now I'm hesitating. What I'm worried about is that the beautiful print of the fabric will get lost among all the seams, because let me tell you, there are a lot of pattern pieces... fourteen to be exact!!!
So what do you think, will the dress be fantastic or should I save the fabric for something else?
I'd use a small print or solid for that pattern. The large print wouldn't come to its best.

ReplyDeleteBut, I definitely save this fabric for another dress... the fourteen patterns pieces are not good for the birds...! I would choose a plain fabric, with contrasting binding
